Customer Service Associate

The Customer Service Associate supports daily front-of-house operations at Telluride Parcel & Print, with a primary focus on shipping and packaging services. This is a customer-facing role responsible for assisting with shipping intake, package preparation, print job intake, POS transactions, and general retail tasks. The position is Seasonal with the opportunity to become Full-Time based on performance.

    Reports To: Customer Service Manager

    About the Role

    We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team during the seasonal rush. In this role, you’ll help customers with shipping, packaging, printing, and general front-of-house needs. Most of your day will be focused on shipping operations, preparing packages, processing carrier labels, and making sure every shipment leaves safely and on time.

    What You’ll Do

    • Welcome and assist customers with shipping, printing, and retail services

    • Prepare packages, select materials, and follow carrier requirements

    • Process shipments for FedEx, UPS, and USPS

    • Weigh, measure, and label packages accurately

    • Support print job intake and simple finishing tasks

    • Run POS transactions and assist with daily opening/closing tasks

    • Restock materials and maintain clean, organized work areas

    • Support the Customer Service Manager with daily workflow and communication

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong customer-service skills and a friendly attitude

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    • Comfortable using computers and learning carrier software

    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Prior shipping, retail, or print shop experience is a plus but not required
